(Introduction to protagonist)
I started doing gymnastics when I was 4 years old and instantly fell in love with it. It's not just a place to train, its my second home. Those went just my team mates, they're my family. And its not just a sport; its my life.
(Injury)
I was so determined for this important competition coming up. I had been waiting what felt like my entire life and I would not let anything get in my way... but then this happened.
(After injury)
I couldn't believe it. Gymnastics is my life and not being able to do the sport made me feel like my life was over. What hurts the most out of everything it watching your friends get to do the thing you love, without you. And getting told you can't compete for something you've worked so hard for. I honestly lost all hope.
(Overcoming injury)
I never thought I would overcome this situation, but with the support from my friends, family, coach and everyone around me, I am now back on track with gymnastics and the happiest I've ever been.
