I have created a shot list by putting my storyboard into the form of a table as this is easier to read and more simple to follow whilst filming or planning to film. The shot list is more practical than the storyboard as for each shot it shows clearly what number shot it is, the duration of it, the cast, the shot type and location. The storyboard I created does not include the location or duration of shot and is therefore the shot list is more informative and useful. It also clearly states which cast is needed where as the storyboard does no, therefore creating the shot list was a very useful tool throughout my planning and filming of my trailer. Being able to clearly see all aspects of each shot enabled me to create call sheets for each time I went to film which were determined by the location and cast needed. For example, the shot list allowed me to see which shots needed to be in the gym with the protagonist only; therefore I could create a call sheet consisting of all of these shots in preparation of filming.
